Charity shops are a great place to get cheap second hand clothes and second hand books. I love the feeling of getting a bargain and knowing I've helped someone else's life to get just that bit better. |

Party2Win.com is a portal used by many groups who are organizing parties and events to raise funds, recruit volunteers, or raise awareness. Groups may be organizing dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of parties, often all on the same day. The Party2Win House Party Host Community gives hosts a forum where they can ask questions, get ideas, and share successful techniques.
Fundraising and friendraising parties are included. Some hosts are planning parties for candidates, causes, or advocacy groups, while others are supporting non-partisan causes and charities. To make everyone welcome, the focus of this group is party and event planning -- NOT politics. Typically, group members are participating in a party or event for the benefit of a campaign, charity, cause, or organization -- this is not the place to turn for tips planning a personal birthday or holiday party. Our typical group member is committed to helping their group make a difference. They are interested in: * successful strategies for increasing attendance * ideas for party activities * tips on managing party logistics When planning fundraisers, hosts are also looking for: * tips for setting contribution goals and collecting pledges * help planning their "ask" for the party or event * ideas for ways to increase funds raised during the event You do not have to be using party2win.com to join this group. However, you should be planning an event for a charity, candidate, cause, or organization. And, you must recognize that people are working for different causes and may not share your political views. Group members agree to keep the focus on party and event plannng. Group Tags
